With all due respect to video calls and email, it’s also important every now and then for us to personally meet our community. That’s why we started the #StaffbaseCommunity Tour this year. In November, a handful of Staffpranos set sail to meet customers, prospects, and partners, all interested in getting to know the Staffbase fans based alongside them locally, and to join them for a day of informative discussions. With a bag full of new features for our employee apps, we made our way to Stuttgart, Munich, Cologne, and London. Each meeting began with a firsthand update from Staffbase CEO Martin, followed by a case study from the community and plenty of time for talk and exchange ideas after.
Stuttgart: The Employee App of SRH Holding Connects 13,000 Employees
In Stuttgart, Susann Lorenz talked about the SRH employee app, which improves the communication of 13,000 employees in various clinics and educational institutions. In order to provide relevant information to every employee of the large holding company, SRH uses the Spaces feature, which allows the creation of targeted communication rooms for different topics. Together with Jens Johansson from Signum communication agency, Ms. Lorenz answered a number of questions from approximately 40 guests. Thank you again for this exciting presentation.
Munich: BayWa AG’s “MyBayWa” App has Changed the Communication Culture
The presentation by Sandra Finger and Markus Schüler from BayWa AG at the #StaffbaseCommunity Meeting in Munich was also very informative. They reported on how their employee app “MyBayWa” has changed the direction of the company’s communication culture from top-down to bottom-up. Communication has become more active and much faster since the introduction of the app. Here’s a short version of the statement from Markus:
Cologne: The DHL Employee App Was Intensively Tested before the Launch
In Cologne, Sarah Gerhards, Digital Media Manager at DPDHL, reported on how DHL’s employee app was intensively tested during a five-month pilot phase prior to its introduction to the whole company. During this pilot process, the team gained many important insights, like the fact that the content provided in the app needs to be oriented toward the needs of its readers. “Local First” is the motto here. Ms. Gerhards drove the employee app project right from the start – and she revealed her most important learning to us:
London: Security Training via Employees App — LiveTrakway Has Great Plans
Two cases – Leadec and LiveTrakway – thrilled our community of customers and partners in London. Andrew Thomas from Leadec answered questions about how their employee app “we.do” significantly improved the company’s customer experience. LiveTrakway’s Mark Boddice then shared how his company uses their employee app to provide work instructions. In the near future, employees will even be able to complete the company’s safety training via the app.
