Privacy Policy YouTube API

This Privacy Policy Youtube API (this “Policy”) describes how Staffbase collects, uses, and shares Staffbase customer’s personal data with Youtube when you, on behalf of a Staffbase customer, activate the Youtube API within the Communication Control platform.

Applicability of the Google Privacy Policy
The Staffbase Communications Control platform uses YouTube API Services. Data obtained from the YouTube API Services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy. By using the Youtube API integration within the Communications Control platform, you, on behalf of a Staffbase customer, agree to the applicability of the Google Privacy Policy to customer’s use of the Youtube integration.

Granted permissions and types of Personal Data Collected
The Staffbase Communications Control application gets the following permissions through the connection of customer’s YouTube Channel:

During the process of connecting your YouTube Account to Communications Control, you can deselect single or multiple of the above mentioned permissions, if you don’t want them to be granted. This will also impact & reduce the functionality you can use from the YouTube integration.

Remove data or revoke access
If you wish to revoke Communications Control’s access to your YouTube data, you can delete your connected YouTube-Channel in Communications Control through Settings > Content Settings > Channels, select the respective channel and delete it. You can also revoke the access connection from Communications Control API Client through the Google Security Settings page for your connected Google account (https://security.google.com/settings). If the access to YouTube API has been revoked, data will be deleted immediately.

Collecting and using your Personal Data
Subject to this Privacy Policy, the Communications Control platform uses Google API Services (including YouTube API Services) to access and collect data from your YouTube Account. Staffbase does not use or distribute any of your personal data to third parties.

Youtube API Terms of Use
By using the YouTube API integration within the Communications Control platform, Customer agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, found at: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

Staffbase Data Processing Agreement
For clarity, Staffbase customers are considered the data controller of customer personal data processed by Staffbase to provide the Staffbase services to customers. The processing of personal data by Staffbase for the provision of the Staffbase services, is governed by the Staffbase Data Processing Agreement (found at: https://staffbase.com/en/legal/dpa/) or any other data protection agreement entered into by Staffbase and the customer.
