We are looking for experienced DevOps engineers who have programming experience and know how to filter through the noise to find issues in the web application. They are able to determine how to proceed by recognizing whether it is an issue with code or infrastructure, and they can mentor others to solve problems.

Our Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React/Redux
  • Backend: Node.js, MySQL, DynamoDB
  • Testing: TestCafe, Selenium, Mocha
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, Terraform
  • Monitoring: Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, OpsGenie

What you’ll be up to:

  • Mentoring your team to define and build out their DevOps culture
  • Learning and improving our multi-region AWS deployment
  • Building and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines
  • Migrating existing environments as well as building out new environments in Terraform
  • Building out an on-call procedure and mentoring developers in on-call team culture
  • Improving our application logging

Experience you’ll come with:

  • Programming in either software applications or web applications
  • Deploying a web application to production
  • Working in the DevOps Life Cycle (build, test, deploy, monitor)
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Building CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure as Code (such as Terraform)
  • Deploying services using tools (such as AWS ECS/Fargate, S3, Cloudfront)
  • Datastores (such as RDS, DynamoDB, S3)
  • Building and troubleshooting deployments on AWS
  • Monitoring services and applications through metrics tools (such as Datadog, Cloudwatch)
