Your tasks

  • Team Environment and Development: Foster a collaborative environment by integrating feedback, supporting agile practices, and working closely with Agile Coaches. Encourage a culture of openness, continuous learning, and growth, emphasizing the importance of technological excellence and innovation.
  • Leadership Presence: Maintain a visible and approachable stance, being a reliable source of support and guidance for your teams. Embrace a leadership style that balances proactive problem-solving with humility and transparency, valuing the contributions of every team member.
  • Leadership Team Collaboration: As part of the team's leadership (Design Lead, Product Manager, Engineering Lead), you'll play a key role in driving delivery, effectiveness, and genuine teamwork
  • Talent Management and Growth: Lead by example in the recruitment and development of a skilled, diverse team as well as building up talent from scratch by supporting our Engineering Entry Programs. Implement structured processes for personal and professional growth, ensuring clarity in roles and facilitating continuous skill enhancement and learning opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Take responsibility for budgeting, resource planning, and the coordination of efforts across departments to achieve seamless collaboration and operational efficiency. Act as a steward of the group's mission and vision, aligning team efforts with organizational goals.
  • Strategic Engagement: Play an active role in strategy formulation and goal setting in collaboration with product, design, and technology partners. Drive your teams towards achieving shared objectives, fostering an environment that empowers decentralized decision-making and innovation.
  • Performance and Improvement: Regularly assess team and engineering effectiveness using data-driven insights validated by a close relationship with the teams. Prioritize and implement initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, adhering to best practices and standards within the broader organizational context.
  • Initiative Oversight and Risk Mitigation: Lead transparency efforts in cross-team initiatives, ensuring clear communication of progress and challenges. Proactively identify and address risks, and manage non-functional requirements to enhance security, scalability, and performance. Your role is crucial in maintaining initiative momentum and ensuring outcomes meet our high standards for reliability and strategic alignment.
