Events Manager - UK, Benelux & Nordics

What you'll do:

  • Own the organisation of event logistics and promotions for Staffbase’s owned (virtual and in-person) events, webinars and third-party events. This will involve all aspects of event coordination and production (location sourcing, program, invitation management, on-site org, promotion, etc)
  • Help plan and manage digital and social campaigns to boost visibility for each event, webinar and marketing activity, ensuring a strong attendance rate
  • Build relationships with event organisers and partnership groups, negotiating for best pricing and value-add opportunities; create and own a master list of vendors for NEMEA while keeping an eye out for global opportunities as well
  • Create sales material and collateral and write clever copy for promotional activities
  • Write creative and compelling copy for social media ads, landing pages and newsletters for event promotion 
  • Build and maintain a full database of MQLs acquired via third-party events with a high degree of detail; work with Biz Ops and NEMEA marketing team to fit into nurture programs as appropriate
  • Work with Biz Ops to create, with the intent to own and maintain, full reporting on ROI for third-party events and partnerships as well as owned events, pulling out insights and recommendations
  • Create and maintain quarterly view of owned and third-party events, planning in advance with guidance from Marketing Team Lead and Sales. Responsible for the communication of all events with Sales for use in outbounding

Your profile:

  • 3-5 years experience in event marketing and management; salary commensurate with experience
  • Detail-oriented, “plan in advance” approach
  • Ability to liaise cross-functionally within team and different departments for campaign components
  • Sales-partner mindset
  • Ability to establish an effective communications strategy with team
    Keen negotiation skills
  • Availability to travel – periodic trips across the UK, Benelux and Nordic regions
