Marketing Manager (Social Media focus)

As we grow at a rapid pace, we are currently looking for a talented and motivated Marketing Manager to join our amazing DACH team! The role is mainly focused on social media management. It will bridge the gap between new business and customer retention and join our regional marketing team in reaching its goals for the German speaking countries. We offer a full-time permanent contract and this role can be based in any of our German offices (Chemnitz, Dresden, Leipzig, Cologne, Berlin).

Your tasks:

A) Social

  • Manage our social media channels in the DACH region
  • Liaise with the entire DACH marketing team to ensure that social campaigns are planned holistically and within the context of major team initiatives 
  • Come up with new ways of increasing reach and engagement
  • Create monthly content calendars with a mix of content to promote brand, product, and events
  • Monitor, analyze and report key campaign metrics and share learnings and best practices to continue to improve campaign performance
  • Work closely with graphics and content creators on the creation of campaign assets

B) Community Building & Engagement

  • Listen to the industry community, engage in social discourse and grow our community audience
  • Grow our influencer marketing by identifying, motivating and educating internal + external B2B influencers
  • Create, maintain, and share best practices documentation for the wider team in conjunction with counterpart in English markets

C) Customer Marketing

  • Produce  and promote client case studies to illustrate Staffbase’s solution and real life application in the marketplace
  • Build meaningful relationships with customer champions and drive creation of user generated content
  • Plan, implement, and realize creative storytelling events with customers in order to increase engagement across Staffbase owned assets


Your profile:

  • You have min 3 years of experience in the field of marketing
  • You are a qualified social media manager with creative ideas and a passion for organic social activation
  • You have sharp copy-writing skills and understand the key pain points per persona to produce clear, concise, snappy copy
  • You are a creative storyteller who can quickly adopt company tone/style
  • You have basic graphic & video skills (e. g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) 
  • You are an energetic, forward-thinking and detailed-oriented individual
  • You are organized with excellent project management skills and can work to set self-imposed deadlines
  • You are German native speaker and you have advanced communication skills in English  which you can grow in our international team

  • You are experienced in CEO positioning in close cooperation with senior leadership.
