Performance Marketing Manager - North America

Staffbase is looking for an experienced performance marketing manager to drive lead generation strategy, execution, and campaign optimization for the North American (US/Canada focus) market. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a globally focused team composed of full-stack performance marketers, helping to scale acquisition for the market’s leading internal communications platform. As an integral part of this growing team, you’ll develop strategies to generate and nurture qualified B2B leads through paid activities across the marketing funnel, refining channel selection and spend allocation.

This role will sit within the larger global demand generation team but actively work with the North American regional marketing team on topics like content & event promotion, reporting, lead nurturing, and more. Candidates can be based in one of our offices in North America or Europe. 

How you will spend your time: 

Campaign strategy, development, and execution

  • Build, implement, and execute B2B paid campaigns (Adwords, Google Display, YouTube, Xing, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.) across the North American market
  • Optimize always-on campaigns & spend allocation to drive the highest quality leads for the most efficient ROI
  • Create and test copy, creatives and ad formats to bring down CPC and CPL
  • Consult on content distribution & funnel strategy based on paid acquisition insights
  • Develop, maintain, and track strong KPIs related to performance marketing initiatives

Campaign optimization and analysis

  • Analyze campaign metrics and reporting to find new opportunities for growth
  • Monitor dashboards and reports to track campaign progress across the North American region
  • Run A/B tests to find channel & creative champions
  • Produce and share insights with the larger marketing and sales teams

Performance marketing operations 

  • Maintain full day-to-day responsibility of the North American paid media accounts and budget
  • Build and optimize performance landing pages to improve conversion rates
  • Collaborate with teams to understand our market and buyer personas, refine messaging and campaign offers
  • Implement structural improvements to the performance marketing process for data clarity, alignment, and consistency

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience and comfort owning campaign implementation & execution within a SaaS, B2B, or digital agency environment
  • Prior experience in search advertising (Google Adwords, Display) and social media advertising (Linkedin, Xing, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sense of large data sets. Previous experience using Excel, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and other data platforms a big plus
  • Ownership and motivation to lead strategic level projects and present your findings to stakeholders across the business
  • Experience working with cross functional teams across marketing and sales
  • Curiosity and passion about all things lead generation and digital marketing
  • Strong copywriting and verbal communication skills in English
