As Sales Manager leading a team of Account Executives in Eastern North America, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the development & execution of the team towards meeting & exceeding quota and related goals. This leadership role requires an individual with several years of closing experience in a fast growing SaaS environment who is passionate about managing a diverse team. Candidate must be in NYC area. 

 

Your tasks include:

  • Recruiting, hiring, and developing a world-class direct sales team to support revenue targets for the business.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership & Sales Enablement to identify strengths and areas of development for Account Executives based on current skills, processes, and knowledge.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Sales Development, Product, and other interfacing teams to drive success and prioritize where the team invests resources.  You are the customer-facing team lead coordinating our communications & success path.
  • Oversee the overall team performance and work together with the team towards quarterly and yearly goals
  • Lead weekly pipeline meetings and mentor Account Executives on strategies to manage their pipeline, accurately forecast and attain monthly & quarterly goals.

 

Your profile:

  • Experience in and passion for coaching and mentoring members of the sales team directly and indirectly reporting to you.
  • Multiple years of quota carrying sales experience as an Account Executive (individual contributor) in SaaS/technology orgs with a demonstrated track record of over-performance.
  • Strong track record managing various size & complexity of deals and negotiating, structuring and executing complex sales agreements.  You need to be eager to be involved in the sales process with the Account Executives & related team members.
  • You’re excited about managing and enabling a team and driving projects forward.
  • You are a highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual who loves to work with a diverse team.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a regularly changing environment.
