Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business success and fostering a positive organizational culture? Staffbase is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team and support our leaders in achieving their strategic goals. In this role, you will be instrumental in building strong partnerships with leaders, developing deep insights into their business challenges, and creating innovative solutions that align with our organizational values and OKRs.
You will leverage your solid business acumen and people skills to address complex issues, drive people strategy, and enhance team performance. Your proactive approach to identifying critical business issues and tendency towards action will ensure timely and effective resolutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring team members, contributing to the development of the People Experience (PX) function, and leading company-wide programs and initiatives.

What you'll be doing
- Support our leaders to create and execute strategy and business goals, facilitating accountability and promoting alignment to organizational values and OKRs
- Form a strategic view of talent management that builds manager capability, drives overall organizational performance and establishes strong rigor to succession planning and internal mobility
- Demonstrate data literacy in providing insights that enable highly focused partnership and justify challenge to stakeholders and while enabling effective influence and action
- Build strategic partnerships with leaders by developing deep knowledge and understanding of their business drivers, challenges and needs
- Utilize solid business, people acumen and practical experience to dig deeply into issues and develop fit-for-purpose and creative solutions that build culture and align with organizational values
- Mitigate interpersonal issues, handle escalations, facilitate conflict resolution and increase team performance by analyzing trends and training needs of your business units
- Raise perceived business critical issues to the appropriate level, and contribute actively to issue resolution through recommendations while considering internal and external trends and data
- Mentor other team members and contribute to the general training and development of the PX function within Staffbase
- Actively seek and listen to input, suggestions and frustrations from the business and take a leading role in seeking appropriate solutions on a global scale
- Take a leading role in the design, implementation, and delivery of company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., initiating the rolling out of new processes, leading cross-departmental projects, leading high-stakes OKRs, and taking on large global projects)
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for your work, be a creative problem solver and a role-model of organizational values and time management skills
- Influence the design and continuous improvement of PX programs contributing your deep understanding of business needs and priorities
- Cultivate positive, trust-based working relationships across the business at all levels
What you need to be successful
- 7+ years in progressive HR roles, with at least 3 of those as a strategic HR Business Partner
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with broader organizational objectives
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for creating innovative solutions to drive team success.
- Experience driving organizational performance through change management, talent management, culture and engagement, and organizational design
- Good understanding of German employment laws and regulations, with experience ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP is plus
- Business fluent English skills, Business fluent in German
