As a Corporate Account Executive for the DACH region in our Sales team in Germany, you will collaborate with our partners, the marketing team, and our Sales Development Representatives to develop and execute targeted outbound strategies to achieve our sales goals.

What you’ll be doing

  • Effective stakeholder management (internal/external) – managing complex sales processes and leveraging all available resources efficiently
  • Full Circle Sales as an Account Executive  – end-to-end process and sales management (from outbound to final contract closing)
  • Outbound focus – strategic prospect planning by industry and ICP, incorporating key insights (challenges, etc.)
  • Strategic development of existing customers, identifying upsell and cross-sell potential
  • Acquisition of new customers, focusing on companies with 1,000+ employees
  • Pitching the Staffbase vision – outstanding pitch skills as a key to success
  • Representing Staffbase as an enthusiastic brand ambassador
  • Close collaboration with the marketing and customer success teams to optimize sales strategy
  • Contributing your own ideas and strategies to further develop our company culture, values, and vision

What you need to be successful

  • At least 3 years of experience in software sales – ideally in web technology, collaboration, communication, or innovative online products, or as a project manager
  • Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment is a plus
  • Previous collaboration with communication departments, IT, HR, and C-level decision-makers
  • Strong outbound mentality and advanced pitching skills 
  • High emotional intelligence and strong ability to identify and understand customer needs
  • Passion, humor, and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent German (C2) and business-proficient English skills
