What you’ll be doing

  • Creating healthy environments for our development teams and their people by incorporating feedback and working closely with our Agile Coaches.
  • Being visible and approachable for your direct reports.
  • Enabling sustainable pace and growth through hiring.
  • Taking care of the budgeting and resource planning for the group, including external partners.
  • Representing the group within the Unit leadership circle.
  • Growing talent (Growth Talks) as well as pursuing a continuous improvement approach to training as well as onboarding.
  • Supporting the teams in their agile processes, such as the quarterly goal setting or enabling them to make decentralised decisions and manage load.
  • Engage in the strategy and goal setting together with product and technology partners.
  • Shaping the understanding of the group’s mission and vision.
  • Reporting and creating transparency on progress, risks and non-functional requirements within the group.
  • Coordinating with other groups across our department on integration topics.


What you need to be successful

  • You are a truly servant leader
  • You are experienced in leading software engineering teams
  • You possess skills in agile and pragmatic project management as well as flexibility
  • You not only care, but advocate for an open and agile culture that is in line with our values
  • You understand the importance of technological excellence in building world-class software, such as DevOps, CI/CD and the management of dependencies
  • You can balance and moderate different perspectives and goals and have an ability to foster decision-making in an environment with competing goals.
  • You are a strong communicator with an ability to align teams behind shared goals and create transparency on all levels
  • You are able to give and receive constructive feedback
  • You are Fluent in English
