We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join our HR Services integration team. In this role, you will be responsible for continuously identifying, developing, and improving features that are central to our offerings in the space of Human Resources. The anticipated start date for this position is November 1, 2024.

Staffbase is leading and growing the internal communications space. This role is about supercharging our offering with additional services in the HR domain, influencing user behavior, and helping internal communicators to foster the company narrative. You and your team will have the opportunity to help redefine the importance and purpose of HR services in the enterprise segment. We are looking for an inspirational and aspirational Product Manager. Together with your cross-functional team of designers and engineers, you will continuously identify relevant problems to solve and enable your team to solve them in an impactful and sustainable way. 

This role will report directly to one of our Group Product Managers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing a deep understanding of the HR services domain, then spreading and using that knowledge to discover new product opportunities.
  • Partnering with product research, marketing, and sales to identify, evaluate, and communicate customer insights and pain points. With your team, you will constantly evaluate the why and which problem you can solve, based on prior research.
  • Leading the effort of scoping, prioritizing, and managing the roadmap and backlog for your product area. Evangelizing your domain narrative and aligning your efforts with the overarching company strategy.
  • Having end-to-end ownership of writing compelling product specs, aligning with your team, and driving cross-functional execution.
  • Collaborating with product marketing and customer-facing teams, you will create launch plans and packaging while pushing for strong awareness of customers and our organization.
  • Together with your team, identifying, defining, and iterating on the overarching customer experience for your area and ensuring this is aligned and understood by other teams.
  • Monitoring and understanding the usage of your product, ensuring it is hitting the right metrics and being adopted by customers and users.

What you need to be successful 

  • 2+ years of experience in product management and a proven track-record of launching products / features from ideation to production and market launch
  • Experience with B2B SaaS products is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the tools and methods of product discovery and product delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in working in an agile environment 
  • You think big and small. Having built a portfolio of small experiments and large features, you are as comfortable whiteboarding a completely new experience as you are with optimizing existing features and flows
  • You are a strong collaborator and can engage with engineers, designers, data scientists, company leaders or other stakeholders
  • You understand the usage of data and metrics, the industry trends and competitive environment as well as customer needs to clearly define the impact future products will have in your key area
  • Excellent communication skills
