Staffbase is looking for an enthusiastic HR Business Partner to join our global team and support North American leaders in achieving their strategic goals. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with leaders, develop deep insights into their business challenges, and help create people-focused solutions that align with our company values.

What you'll be doing

  • Build strong relationships with Go-To-Market leaders and teams, understanding their unique needs and challenges and enabling them to deliver on strategy and business goals in alignment with our values and OKRs.
  • Own and support the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience at every stage.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, team development, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Partner with managers to address interpersonal conflict and employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to implement company-wide initiatives such as performance reviews, learning programs, and DEI strategies.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to improve people strategies.
  • Influence the design of HR programs by contributing your understanding of the business needs and support the rollout of these programs to your groups, including career development, succession planning, and employee recognition.
  • Raise perceived business critical issues to the appropriate level, and contribute actively to issue resolution through recommendations that consider internal and external trends and data.
  • Act as a culture champion, promoting company values and fostering a positive employee experience and trust-based relationships with all stakeholders.

What you need to be successful 

  • 3+ years in progressive HR roles, with at least 2+ of those as an HR Generalist or Business Partner. Experience in SaaS companies or scale-up companies is a plus.
  • Business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with broader organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for creating innovative solutions to drive team success.
  • Experience executing on change management initiatives with comfort navigating ambiguity and creating clarity. 
  • Good understanding of United States employment laws and regulations, with experience handling employee relations and identifying potential legal risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Pursuit of professional certifications such as SHRM-CP is a plus.
  • Business fluent English skills.
