What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for improving and developing both our web-based clients, including native apps, and our RESTful web services.
- Work in a cross-functional scrum team and produce high-quality and tested code.
- Give and receive valuable feedback in our code review process and continuously learn and share knowledge with your peers.
- Being open to feedback and taking ownership of your work are essential.
- Take ownership for the topics you care about, ranging from the features you produce over the quality of our work to the environment we work in.
- You work iteratively, frequently pushing code, ensuring a good CI/CD pipeline, and automating where possible.
What you need to be successful
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You are a Frontend Engineer with experience in finding and choosing fitting external libraries as well as judging if using a library is even needed/desired in the first place.
- You are able to extend the functionality in React if needed and are experienced with Typescript.
- You definitely care about details and Responsive Design, always having customer needs and End-User Experience in mind.
- You are keen on increasing a products level of Accessibility and familiar with best practices to do so.
- You are able to navigate large, complex as well as potentially old code bases and to read unfamiliar code efficiently.
- You are experienced in writing E2E tests (Playwright / webdriver-IO / etc.) and care for quality, testability, security, and documentation in general.
- You are used to working with existing SDK and towards existing API.
- Preferably, you have worked in an agile environment before.
- Good English communication skills.
- You are a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding and appreciating diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
