Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for enabling business growth and fostering a positive organizational culture? Staffbase is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team and support our growth ambitions. In this role, you will be instrumental in building strong partnerships with leaders, developing deep insights into their business challenges, and creating innovative solutions that align with our organizational values and OKRs.

You will leverage your commercial passion and expert people skills to deliver high impact solutions, drive people strategy, and enhance team performance. Your proactive approach to identifying critical business issues and tendency towards action will ensure timely and effective resolutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring team members, contributing to the development of the People Experience (PX) function, and leading company-wide programs and initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with relevant Business Leaders at Staffbase (e.g. Venture Markets & Global Marketing) to create and execute people plans that align with regional and global growth ambitions including new market entry activities

  • Actively drive talent management agenda, working closely with TA and OD to attract best in class talent while internally establishing succession planning, growth and supporting mobility
  • Work in partnership with OD to define, design and deliver engaging enablement and calibration sessions in line culture, talent and reward cycles for Staffbase
  • Support leaders to drive positive engagement within teams and focus on building culture across Staffbase, deepening team engagement, developing motivation and helping teams continue to achieve incredible results
  • Be the trusted thought partner to leaders on organisational effectiveness across all key stages of Organisational Design including; define, design, execute and evaluate
  • Demonstrate data literacy to create insight-driven people plans
  • Utilise solid business, people acumen and practical experience to dig deeply into issues and develop fit-for-purpose and creative solutions that build culture and align with organisational values
  • Work collaboratively with people shared services and internal payroll specialists and suppliers to contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of employee lifecycle documentation and local payroll / financial reporting 
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for your work, be a creative problem solver and a role-model of organisational values and time management skills
  • Influence the design and continuous improvement of PX programs contributing your deep understanding of business needs and priorities
  • Cultivate positive, trust-based working relationships across the business at all levels

What you need to be successful

  • 7+ years in progressive HR roles, with at least 3 of those as an HR Business Partner
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with broader organizational objectives
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for creating innovative solutions to drive team success
  • Experience driving organizational performance through change management, talent management, culture and engagement, and organizational design  
  • Internationally experienced with robust understanding of UK employment law and regulations and exposure to other legislative locations (e.g. Germany / Australia) 
  • Proactive approach to challenges with a solution-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Saas industry experience useful but not essential
  • Professional HR qualifications are useful but not essential
  • Business fluent English skills, other languages useful but not essential
