We're seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale product initiatives that span multiple engineering teams and touch every part of our platform. You'll orchestrate complex programs like comprehensive UX rewrites, major feature rollouts, and product releases that require coordination across frontend, backend, mobile, and infrastructure teams. As the strategic coordinator for our most ambitious product initiatives, you'll ensure seamless execution while driving operational improvements that scale with our growing engineering organization. You'll thrive in our fast-paced scale-up environment, where you'll manage high-stakes, cross-cutting product programs that directly impact our user experience and business outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead end-to-end execution of complex technical programs that span multiple engineering teams including comprehensive UX rewrites, platform-wide feature rollouts, and coordinated product releases across frontend, backend, mobile, infrastructure, and QA teams
- Partner with product and engineering leads to bring complex, multi-team changes to life using strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and technical expertise on how large, mulit-team programs are broken down, executed, and successfully delivered on time and with high quality
- Own project/program transparency through comprehensive reporting and KPIs, communicating progress regularly to senior management and key stakeholders while managing competing priorities and resource constraints
- Foster an engineering excellence mindset and drive continuous improvement of engineering practices to ensure valuable outcomes are delivered
- Develop comprehensive project plans for multi-team product initiatives, managing dependencies and driving cross-team collaboration for large-scale changes that affect user experience, system architecture, and business logic
- Analyze current engineering processes and design scalable processes, tools, and frameworks that enhance team productivity and operational efficiency
What you need to be successful
- 7+ years of technical program management experience leading complex product initiatives in software engineering environments
- Project or Program Management certification (PMP, PgMP, Prince2, etc.)
- Proven track record of managing large-scale product programs such as major UX overhauls, platform-wide feature launches, or coordinated product releases
- Experience managing programs that span multiple technical domains (frontend, backend, mobile, infrastructure)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban), and engineering best practices
- Familiarity with modern engineering tools and platforms (JIRA, Confluence, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence and drive consensus across cross-functional teams
- Experience managing ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities in a scale-up environment
