Q: Who can participate in the challenge? And can I participate as a team?

The competition is open to students and young professionals aged 18-30. And yes, you can participate individually or as part of a team. But each team must designate at least one contact person.

Q: Is there an entry fee to participate?

No, participation in the Code the Future challenge is completely free of charge.

Q: What are the key dates for the challenge?

Submissions are open from October 1st to November 7th. Pre-evaluation and announcement of finalist will take place latest on November 18th, and the final live event is on November 25th.

Q: Do I need to attend the live event to win a prize?

Yes, attendance and a live pitch at the final event on November 25th are mandatory to be eligible for prizes. Please note, travel and accommodation are not covered.

Q: How does the career opportunity aspect work?

During the submission process, you'll have the option to explicitly consent to be contacted by the Staffbase Talent Acquisition team for potential career opportunities. Opting in does not guarantee contact.

Evaluation: the judging process and criteria

We’ve designed a transparent evaluation process to give your innovative solution the attention it deserves. Your project will first be reviewed for pre-selection, and then, if chosen as one of the six best, you will present your work directly to our distinguished jury in a live final pitch.

Relevance

This criterion assesses the practical usefulness of your solution, measuring how effectively it addresses a real-world problem and the clarity with which it defines its target audience.

Innovation

This criterion evaluates the novelty and creativity of your idea, its technical sophistication, and the originality of its implementation, looking for a fresh approach that stands out.

Practical Applicability

Documentation & presentation

This criterion evaluates the clarity, structure, and overall professionalism of your submission materials, including any optional videos and your live pitch.
