Staffbase, the global leader in internal communications, launches Employee AI in France with the appointment of Emmanuelle Loye.
Paris - October 8, 2025
Staffbase, the first natively AI-powered employee experience platform and global leader in internal communications, is entering the French market. The French office will be headed by Emmanuelle Loye, who will lead a team of local specialists.
Staffbase plans to expand this team throughout 2026 in order to build a comprehensive market presence covering sales, marketing, customer service and technical support. Founded in Germany in 2014, Staffbase has a presence in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. The company is growing at an annual rate of over 20% and has more than 2,000 customers worldwide, including Criteo, the European Space Agency, Sanofi, and subsidiaries of Accor Hotels and LVMH.
What sets Staffbase apart: Employee AI
For over a decade, Staffbase has been transforming corporate internal communications, making them more effective, more engaging, and easier to evaluate. Building on this expertise, Staffbase recently announced the launch of Employee AI, marking the beginning of a new era in the field of employee experience. Employee AI is much more than a communication tool: it is the first experience platform dedicated to employees and truly native to AI. Designed from the outset to meet the real challenges of organisations, it reinvents the intranet and paves the way for a new era of collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence. With this approach, Staffbase wants to help companies:
Automate administrative processes so your teams can focus on high-value tasks.
Offer personalised experiences that adapt to the needs of each employee.
Revitalise communication by ensuring that key messages stand out and are impactful, in a context of information overload.
While AI deployment projects for employees promise significant productivity gains, their implementation often fails. Insufficient governance, overly generalised approaches that are sometimes disconnected from business realities, and limited scope that excludes teams in the field are among the most frequently observed causes.
Employee AI by Staffbase is a space that puts AI at the service of employees. The platform is based on three pillars: reliable, contextualised data; a robust governance and security framework; and an expanded scope covering all employee touchpoints. With Employee AI, organisations can deploy their initiatives more effectively and offer their teams a more productive working environment, with a direct impact on performance and talent retention.
The main features developed in close collaboration with our customers include:
Native AI assistant (planned for Q4 2025): a conversational partner that not only answers questions, but also actively helps all employees perform their tasks, from field staff to the CEO.
Hyper-personalised podcasts (planned for Q4 2025): weekly operational podcasts tailored to each employee (e.g., 100,000 employees → 100,000 unique episodes).
Intelligent content management (planned for 2026): flags outdated or duplicate information to ensure content accuracy.
Prompt-based content creation (planned for 2026): administrators and editors can generate emails, templates, pages, and multi-format news items using simple instructions. Through a conversational iteration system, teams can quickly refine drafts to speed up workflows and deliver high-quality communications at scale.
The opening of Staffbase's French headquarters and Emmanuelle's appointment to lead it mark an important milestone in our company's growth and the continued strengthening of our presence in Europe. We are fully committed to helping French companies meet the challenges they face in terms of employee engagement, productivity, retention and overall workplace transformation.
Dr. Martin Böhringer, Co-founder and CEO of Staffbase
Emmanuelle joins Staffbase after more than six years at LinkedIn, where she held strategic positions including Head of Product Marketing for the Asia-Pacific region. With expertise at the intersection of HR and communications, honed over 20 years in business and consulting, Emmanuelle will play a key role in launching the French office and supporting our French customers.
The French employee engagement market is one of the largest in the European Union. This field is both critical and undergoing rapid transformation, with significant potential for growth. The high concentration of organisations whose working environment is centred on the Microsoft ecosystem makes France a prime location where Staffbase's value proposition can be fully realised. Staffbase aims to become the leading employee experience platform on the market. To achieve this, Staffbase will draw on its unique expertise and a comprehensive solution designed natively for AI, enabling organisations to create, distribute and measure inspiring communications.
I am delighted to be joining a company like Staffbase at a time when the challenges of employee experience in France have never been so important for businesses, but also for society as a whole. AI is fundamentally changing the way work can and should be done. Organisations today have a unique opportunity to improve the overall experience at work while significantly increasing their efficiency. Staffbase will help these organisations seize this opportunity and support them in pursuing their goals of growth and employee retention.
